Why Patients Choose Me

Personalised Treatments: I integrate classical acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Stems and Branches, and Five-Element Acupuncture. I tailor each session to you and how you show up in the clinic on that given day, rather than using a one-size-fits-all method based on a pre-defined condition.

A Shared Education: In addition, most patients comment on how much they love being educated on Chinese Medicine, its philosophy, and the rationale behind every treatment. I take the time to explain what I am doing.

Deeply Caring: I understand that healing is not just about physical treatments, but also about feeling heard and supported. I take the time to listen, understand, and help you as a whole person. I love getting to know every patient, including their health, aspirations, hobbies, and careers. I aim to create a calm, safe space for healing and become a health partner who supports you throughout every stage of your journey.

Depth of Expertise: With extensive postgraduate training, I bring specialised knowledge in fertility, musculoskeletal pain, women’s health, stress, and mental wellbeing.

Ethical and Professional Standards: As a member of the BAcC, I follow strict codes of safe practice and ethics, ensuring you receive the highest quality of care every time. I use single-use, sterile needles and ensure your health is taken with the utmost safety.

Ongoing Commitment to Learning: I continue to study and teach acupuncture, staying at the forefront of both classical traditions and modern applications, which my patients often are amazed at. I study every day to help you better and to share my knowledge and expertise with patients and students.

y Journey
During my first degree in Business Management, I developed severe gastroenteritis. What should have been short-lived became a two-year struggle with IBS. Pain, anxiety, and exhaustion left me bedridden.
Doctors couldn’t find answers. Medications often made things worse. At 21, I felt hopeless.
Then my parents booked me a session with an acupuncturist. I had no idea what it was, but I decided to give it a go as nothing else had worked. That first treatment helped me see that there was light at the end of the tunnel. My symptoms eased weekly, and over time, I needed fewer sessions until seasonal check-ups were enough to keep me balanced. I was even able to come off all of my medication.
What struck me wasn’t just the physical relief that I experienced. It was the way my acupuncturist took time to understand me, seeing unique connections between my body's energetic system, and seeing the whole picture rather than honing in on my stomach. For the first time, I felt heard.
That experience transformed me and inspired me to dedicate my life to this medicine.

Healing at the Root

Whole-Person Care

Gentle, Precise, Profound

Connection is at the Core
The eart Of It
For me, acupuncture is about more than needles; it’s about relationships:
- Between practitioner and patient
 - Between people and their bodies
 - Between the energies of our bodies
 - Between humans and the natural world

Healing is not always about doing more. Sometimes it’s about listening, allowing your body’s quiet intelligence to restore balance.
That’s the space I hold for my patients: care, clarity, and kindness.

The Five Values I Live By
“If there is free flow, there is no pain; if there is pain, there is lack of free flow”
(不通這痛,痛則不通)
正 Zhèng — Uprightness & Integrity
Being an acupuncturist is more than a profession. Serving others while standing as a beacon for transformation is a calling. Zhèng speaks to standing upright not only in posture but in principle. I strive to embody the virtues of honesty, responsibility, and moral clarity, becoming a guiding light for those seeking healing.
As a practitioner, I walk the continuous path of pingren (平人), the ideal of a healthy and balanced human. By maintaining my own physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing, I create a living example for my patients to follow. Upright in our being, I offer direction and stability to those navigating the complexities of health and life.
匠 Jiàng — The Way of the Craftsman
Acupuncture is a sacred craft, honed over millennia and deeply rooted in ancient wisdom and tradition. Jiàng represents the dedication, discipline, and passion required to master this beautiful art. Every consultation, pulse, and needle I insert reflects a lifelong commitment to listening and refining my craft.
Beyond the acupuncture techniques lies a vast cultural heritage. I aim to honour the spirit of classical Chinese thought by embracing the philosophical depth of Daoism, Confucianism, Buddhism, and beyond. I also aim to immerse myself in complementary arts such as calligraphy, brush painting, and classical literature—not as hobbies but as ways to cultivate the heart and sharpen the mind. To be a true craftsman is to recognise that mastery is never complete. We remain humble students of an infinite tradition.
仁 Rén — Compassion & Humanity
Rén is the heart of our practice. Rooted in the Confucian teaching, “Do not do to others what you do not wish done to yourself,” it reflects our deep commitment to empathy, kindness, and universal respect. In the clinic, every patient is welcomed with open arms regardless of their background, identity, or circumstance. I see each person not as a condition to be treated but as a human being to be understood and supported. Through connection, we create the conditions for proper healing.
中 Zhōng — Centrality & Balance
In a world often pulled by extremes, zhōng reminds us of the power of balance. In its truest sense, healing is not about the absence of disease, but about returning to one's centre and being whole. It's about connecting to our Core.
As yin and yang constantly dance in dynamic equilibrium, so do our emotions, energies, and experiences. Acupuncture helps guide the body and spirit back toward this middle path, this place of steadiness, neutrality, and clarity.
When we find our centre, we become grounded and better able to move through life with grace, presence, and resilience.
道 Dào — The Path
Dào is the great unfolding. It is the unique journey that each of us is meant to walk. In Chinese medicine, health is seen not merely as the absence of illness, but as the harmonious alignment between the heart (our expression) and the kidneys (our essence and destiny).
My work as an acupuncturist is to help illuminate the dào for each patient and to support them in reconnecting with their authentic self and moving forward with intention, clarity, and joy. When body and spirit align with one’s path, healing flows naturally. It is not forced, but remembered.
Ready to Begin Your ealing Journey?
I’d be honoured to support you with compassionate, personalised care.
