How Acupuncture Helps

Acupuncture has a unique way of treating. With IBD, we can treat several patterns related to the Earth or water element. There could be multiple ways of treating based on your personal experience.

Here's what you might experience:

  • Reduced inflammation
  • Greater immune responses
  • Eases pain and diarrhoea
  • Improves energy and mood
  • Supports remission maintenance

In my experience, Josh is a unique practitioner of acupuncture. His depth of knowledge and experience is clear and admirable, but what most impresses me (as one who has received treatment from his hands) is the degree to which he uses this knowledge and experience to identify and clarify the problems his patients bring to him, to imaginatively choose the curative approaches they require and to continuously monitor the effects of those choices. In addition, Josh is endlessly generous with the sharing of his ideas and knowledge, which naturally builds confidence in his abilities. I recommend him highly.
